Costi, what is that fabric that you used? The close up makes it look like it has some texture to it, like some sort of twill with the diagonal textural lines. I have not seen a fabric like that in an overcoat before.

Yes, it was a one-off woolen cloth with a soft finish and a twill texture. I buy cloth mostly from bolts in cloth shops, so I don't usually expect to retrace it.

What was the weight of the cloth, Costi? I imagine a very heavy weight is to be avoided for ease of construction of the inverted pleat at the back.
