Frank Shattuck, bespoke tailor from New York

(There was a post referencing Frank Shattuck in another thread and I have moved the discussion here.)

For those who might not know, Frank Shattuck is an LL Certified Artisan working in NY. Mr. Shattuck is about as traditional a bespoke tailor as one might expect to find. He is a craftsman in the truest sense of the word who hand cuts and sews every garment as he was taught by great Sicilian tailors.

Many of you will know how much I respect the Sicilian tailoring tradition, one absolutely on a par with any of the greatest in Italy. If you want one man to measure, cut, fit and sew a bespoke garment, Shattuck is an excellent choice.

The traveling tailor trunk show model works quite well in NY. But if any of you wish to work one on one with a domestic based local tailor (and there are some advantages to doing so), contact Mr. Shattuck and lay out your project to him. I think you will be very impressed by what you hear and what you will wear.
