Very nice looking shoes Mr. Grant. I can tell the uppers are suede, and I'm guessing the rest is shell cordovan?

Be sure to protect those good shoes before heading out in that early snow the Twin Cities got the other day.

Thanks 79-

They're suede and calf. The calf is maybe not quite as rose/cordo as the pics suggest. After receiving them, I'll be using some brown cream on them to tone that down as they break in.

I;m witholding judgement on fit for a period until after they get some wear.

oh wow...they look gorgeous! I like the suede/calf treatment. And the steel cap on the front of the sole. Nice!

Handsome shoes! Thanks for sharing. I have a pair in calf/suede in the works, too. Pictures when they're ready...

They look even better on your feet then on the shoe trees.

But now you've scuffed up the nice smooth bottoms

Very nice indeed. It will definitely look even better after you polished with the brown cream. It looks a bit too red.

I am thinking to get a pair of bow tassels (De Rede) from their new Anthony Cleverley range. Has anyone try this range?

Thanks guys. YKH- I own a pair of their older semi-bespoke line and, at a fitting this summer got a gppd look at the Anthony range. Lovely shoes and I am certain, good value.

Thanks Cary Grant. I will definitely go in when I am next in London soon. The A Cleverey range certainly looks beautifully made.

Very nice shoes! Congratulation!
Like spectators, these shoes must be polished with care in order to prevent polish from spilling from one piece of leather to the other. Have you already considered the issue? Do you have any interesting tips in this regard? A further question: have the shoes been delivered with the fer encastre, or did you have them applied onto the shoes later?
