A few weeks ago I was in the lovely city of Vienna.
On one of the days I did stay there I did decide to take the train to Budapest,
not for the reason that Vienna did bored me after 5 times visit that city but with the reason that I did have an appointment at the bespoke tailor Simon Skottowe in Budapest.
it was a pleasure to visit him and to been measured for three suits and two tweed jackets. The pricefor a jacket starts at 800 euro's and for a suit it starts by 1000 euro's.
He also can introduce you to a Viennese shirtmaker.
I am waiting on my first fiting wich one will be about two months because I don't have time before to travel to Budapest.
I also have make a visit to Vass for shoes. The shoes are nice but I give my choice to English shoes.
this is the website from Mr. Skottowe: http://www.simonskottowe.com/
You have to make an appointment with him if you want to been measured for a suit.
He also can visit Vienna, and once a month he is in Vienna at the store Jungmann & Neffe for measured and fit people there.
His service is perfect and friendly.
I have seen a jacket wich was ready wich looks from very good quality.
And about a few weeks I hope also to know how the fit is.
best regards
Simon Skottowe

Those are excellent prices even with the pound depreciating against the Euro. Please keep us informed of progress. I have been looking for another excuse, in addition to Vass and the lovely ladies, to visit Budapest.
