As a new member, who has been lurking in the background, may I express my thanks to all the contributors to this forum. For one such as myself, who has only recently discovered the vice of quality, bespoke clothing, there is nothing but the finest information and inspiration to be found. I thank you all.
I recently read Flusser's book and within it there is a picture that I find particularly intriguing.
Please find the link below. Forgive me but I refused to be geekified and have no idea how to make a simple link so I'll give you the full address.

When I first saw it I could see how the suits in my posession were now second rate at best. The fit is incredible but the suit looks so comfortable and naturally flows with the body. I do not wish my suits to be like a second skin but to have an ease of movement whilst retaining form. I would be interested to hear the other Loungers views.
As well as the DOW, Flusser presents Tyrone Power as another style icon. I came accross the following image.

Is the DOW eyeing up the opposition? Or is perhaps admiring the lookalike LL tie?
Best regards
David

Welcome David, I think you'll find a wealth of great information here on the London Lounge.
As for a suit being a second skin that can be debatable by some. I myself prefer a silhouette that has some room to move around in. Such as trousers that are full cut and have a high waist, and a jacket that is not too closely tapered on the sides.
I like that type of style because well,..... I'm not a very small person.
Again, welcome to the LL.
Best Regards,
