A brief stop at Tip Top last Friday, revealed new, higher prices, given the dollar's weakness against the Euro and Sterling. A large selection of Loro Piana storm system overcoating weight "cloths." These are heavy cloths with a plastic membrane coating. The usual selection of shirtings, expanded inventory of linings, lots of covert and cavalry twill, lots of cashmere jacketing, and the usual suitings.

The new book of cotton trousers: poplin, khaki, twill, was possibly not of European origin (my opinion).
