Here is one of my first pairs of Edward Greens. Purchased in 1995, they were made by EG’s former workshop on Oliver Street. You’ll notice that they were made on the old 202 last in the Chelsea model. The toe cap is sits farther back, and the lines and eyelets are straighter than today's model. They’ve were re-soled a couple of times by a great guy on West Forty-sixth Street, who is sadly no longer in business. They are my workhorse/go-to/when-in-doubt shoes that have stepped in almost every type of extreme weather. They just came off a multi-week business trip and are in need of some TLC.

I'm replacing them with a similar pair from G&G, and I'll add pictures to new post or in the Photojournal.
