An unusual combination of topics, I grant you.

However London based members may care to know that the British Antique Dealers Association Fair (5-11th March) at Duke of Yorks, near Sloane Square, has an interesting loan exhibition from Henry Poole & Co- amongst a small number of exhibits is the recreation of one of Winston Churchill's suits using Fox Flannel.

There is also a beautiful blue smoking jacket, which has set me thinking.

They also have a lovely and interesting (well at least I enjoyed it) exhibition of tiepins which are well displayed. The free exhibition catalogue has an article on tiepins by Diana Scarisbrick.

If you are in the vicinity, worth a look. Also, lots of lovely antiques to admire.
