As I recall, H&S, Drapers, and W. Bill all carry 14 ounce linen in a variety of colors.

I would add Dugdale and Scabal to the list. Good linen is readily available. H&S has a large variety of colors with a few shades of khaki, sand and tan

I would second the W Bill recommendation. Excellent quality, hard wearing and quite wrinkle resistant.

Note that 14 oz. linen can be very hot and heavy.

I have it and wouldn't get it again.

Maybe a lighter weight Italian linen is in order. Or cotton.

In the Summer, IMO, comfort beats considerations of drape and line that come with the 14 oz.

Thanks for the responses. W Bill do have nice heavy linens. I will look up some of the other suggestions also.

Uppercase: I have some 10oz linen in the works that are meant for summer use. You are right about 14oz. I had one made up and it is warm, so I use it for cooler months in Hong Kong, around 20C. I find being somewhat contrarian can be fun ;)
