Windsor's clothes Part 1
i was just wondering as it had been a year since these threads had started - when will part 2 be posted?
So my first thought on seeing Windsor’s clothes was the absolute futility of both fashion and design: the two charlatans who have successively lured and betrayed men for decades. Take Windsor’s clothes, grow them to fit your size and you will see how actual and modern they truly are.

Very much in keeping with Chanel's fashion philosophy: 'clothes should be ageless, dateless, timeless, unexaggerated, and above all, easy to wear.' What it takes to create clothes that conform to this standard, is something else, again. Many of Balenciaga's designs are timess, as well. Same with Saint Laurent.
Balenciaga suit, in nubby tweed: 1964. Timeless.

The essence of elegance, a thread you will see manifest in many LL posts. Unaffected simplicity, balance and comfort make for an elegant wardrobe.'clothes should be ageless, dateless, timeless, unexaggerated, and above all, easy to wear.'

Thank you for a wonderful and inspirational insight, both the images and commentary are excellent. Very useful for a young designer such as myself, looking forward to part II!

Kiton has a collection of interesting pieces of the Duke's wardrobe, bought at an auction.
