Silk retailers in North America

Hello all,

Does anyone have any suggestions for a company (preferably with a website) that carries a wide variety of good-quality silk for ties? An organization that I'm a member of is considering making a club tie. Stripes in classic colours would be preferred. There are only six of us, so we don't need that much material. I'd prefer to deal with a Canadian company, but that might not be feasible.

I have not heard of a Canadian website that would be helpful.

If you want a custom woven repp stripe and have three to four months (sometimes faster but best not to rush a custom weave) you could have roughly a dozen standard construction ties or half a dozen six-folds.

You could save time by having the silk woven and made into ties in England.

If you need help feel free to email me - and we could weave the silk and make the ties but it would be roughly three to four months for a custom woven silk.
