I'm having a linen suit made. Just wondering what most of you do with the lining on a linen suit - none, quarter or full? I know it's going to crease, but would having it fully lined helps making it less proned to excessive creasing?

Quarter for me. Definitely on 14 ounce linen. 10 ounce, even, it works. With Italian hankie linen, maybe a full lining. But then, I won't get a suit made of that anyway.

14 oz Irish linen from W Bill, quarter lined. Self-lining would be a bit heavy. Minnis has some 11 oz Irish linen that I will try for summer odd trousers.
