As Wednesday is my day off of class, I decided to alter one of the collars on my navy blazer in lieu of studying. One thing led to another and soon enough I had completely disassembled the coat. While staring at the pieces lying about, I noticed I had some canvas interfacing in the corner of the room which I had ordered several months ago but never put to use. As I dislike the fused interfacing and due to the fact that in the process of disassembly, I 'unstuck' most of it anyway, I decided, "why not add real interfacing to this coat"?

I spent most of my afternoon working on the coat - my first attempt at using nonstick interfacing - and have almost completed one side - lapel stitches and all. I will post photos of the progress and the coat after it has been completed. Hopefully, it will be worth the time.
