Shoe Tree availability UK
I'm considering a bulk purchase of the wooden shoe trees from the Cedarville Store in the US. Would it be safe to conclude that wooden trees can't be purchased in the UK at anything like the price thay are offering. I see Pediwear comes in at £29, for example. Even with shipping for 5 pairs to Italy ($47) Cedarville comes to less than the Pediwear price. Suggestions welcome.

Try Shipton & Heneage, they offer keener prices for multiples of 5/10/15:

Probably the cheapest shoetrees come from the French company Bexley:

Apparently forum member aportnoy is rather pleased about those.
There is also a seller on ebay.fr who specialises in shoe care products, but I can’t remember the name.
Hope that helps - Rolf

As bengal has mentioned, I am quite fond of the Bexley trees having bought 40+ pairs. Unfortunately, they are currently out of my size, so I recently ordered 12 pair from Cedarville, which I hope to receive shortly.
I would wait Bexley out for replenishment which usually takes 30 days from their supply runnng out.

A contact pointed out to me that the heels in Bexley trees are particularly wide -- I'd have qualms about using them in my shoes because of that. I've found my EG bespoke trees are good for use in shoes for which I don't have lasted trees.

These may not be what you are looking for but they are certainly cheap.

I would second that; I'm very happy with my C-E trees and will almost certainly be purchasing some more fairly soon. The cedarwood seconds (as long as you don't mind slight imperfections in the wood or corrosion on the barrels) are particularly good value.
Anthony.
