These should be en route to me now and I hope you enjoy the photos. If these fit, I shall no longer have any reason to drool over the Weston Hunt Derby. (Full size versions of some of these photos are in the photojournal.)

I think that your shoes beat the Weston Hunt shoe all to hell on looks. They are formidible without being ostentatiously massive, unlike the Weston; and your version is cleaner and less cluttered in design. I particularly like the leather. I hope that the fit is as excellent as the appearance.

Agreed, this is a Norwegian I could love. I couldn't wear it with a city suit, but with tweeds or gray flannel trousers and an odd jacket, certainly.
