New Diamond tip semi brogue

Dear Gentlemen

I have developed for the bespoke a diamond tip semi brogue shoe, again with a chiselled toe but this time in Chestnut antique, please have a look and let me know what you think, i very much value your opinion. The shoe is on page 4 of the bespoke EG section.

Tony, that shoe is indeed a marvel! Excellent! Are those your own or for a customer. Like Giona, I too cannot see the last page... the pictures have a little 'x' in it!

Wow! And your Carpinco Derbys are stunning. Forgive my ignorance, but what (or who) was the Carpinco from which the shoes are made?

Yes Jan the Shoes were made for a customer i have in Wasington DC, he is fortunate to have a great foot and i enjoyed making them very much, infact i didn't want to send them to him, the picture does not do the shoe justice.

ccox, the carpinco is a south American Boar which apparently they use for pitt fighting, the skins are very scarred and i sometimes have to use 2 or 3 full skins to get 1 pair of shoes, that pair were made for our own Mr Hayes. I do not believe that any other shoemakers have used this skin due the difficulty in using it and the extreme amount of wastage, so they could be the only pair ever made.

Thanks for the amazing pics.

The "handsome buckles", diamond tip derby, and the side elastic wholecut are my current favorites.

The snake skin shoe is quite understated for a snake skin. Not that I'm saying it is understated, but regardless, very nice, interesting, and artistic.

Is the burgundy blind brogue oxford cordovan? It has a very beautiful, deep color. Wouldn't surprise me if it is calf (I prefer calf, as well)!

I shall become impoverished and live on a diet of peanut butter sandwiches, if you keep furthering my shoe addiction by uploading such wonderful pictures!

The shape of the shoe is indeed beautiful... your client is indeed a lucky person.

Tony... It seems as if you have an especial fondess for this design.. Am I wrong? Are you developing this 'diamond tip' pattern as your trademark shoe, inasmuch as the side elastic apron is Cleverley's?

Yes Jan I have 3 or 4 different styles of the dimond tip and it seems to be well liked, it may not be everybodys cup of tea but it caters for the guys who want something slightly different.
