Does anyone have good advice on what to look for in a good steamer for clothing? I am thinking of buying one, and am curious as to what companies make good ones and how much they cost. Thank you in advance.

A good quality steamer.
I went to a textile supply house, sewing machines, steamers and the likes.
A decent steamer started at 300 cdn dollars.
An investment well worth it, since just prior, I had sought to cut a corner and purchased a 120 dollar steamer made by Home Touch sold in a store that sells bed linens.
I believe, that was the worst piece of junk I have every seen.
It spit steam and water on your clothes!
It was returned promptly and without argument from the retailer.
This is not the exact model but very similar to what I bought after returning the first unit.
To date, I am very happy with it.

I presume you require a steamer to help remove creases from your suit garments?
If this is the case a normal iron will usually sufice. Some of the vertical steamers I have seen here in the UK are terrible and will not last.
If you 'fire' steam at your garments with a regular iron, whilst you have a rolled up news paper in the sleeve, that will sort any creases. Do the same for the body parts (without newspaper ) and leave hung up on a good size hanger for the shoulders, if you then place it in a suit bag, with the sleeves hanging slightly foreward over the sideflaps,it should come out lovely. I hope I am not preaching to the converted!

Yes I will be using the steamer to help remove creases. I have used my iron from Rowenta to do so but have had some trouble. The iron will spit water and I have to keep pushing the steam button in and out. When I iron my shirts it is not a problem.
