I was wondering what has become of Terry Haste, formely the head cutter at Huntsman. The current issue of British GQ mentions that Haste now works independently in London. Does anyone have his contact details? Does he have space on either SR or off the Row? If so, where?

The British GQ article also says that Haste was an apprentice at A&S, then worked for Tommy Nutter, before starting the bespoke operation at Hacketts. He then went on Huntsman. I found it interesting that he started at A&S yet ended up at Huntsman, two houses with very different house styles.

Are there any Haste customers among us on the LL?

I think Terry works from Goodwood, Hampshire, these days. The last contact telephone number I have is 07767 642711.

Last year, Terry was at the Goodwood Revival. He had a little outlet set up at the Revival, measuring for bespoke suits and selling the official Goodwood Revival coat. I'm expecting to see him there again next weekend.

Do you have your outfit picked out for the Revival?

In the end I opted for "Man from the Ministry" with mid-grey chalkstripe suit by Hitchcock, Cary Grant-esque polka dot silk print tie, straight point collar shirt from Vinci, LL brogues and a well-worn fedora from Lock.

There was a degree of amusement that I "outfitted" from my own wardrobe.

Terry Haste was there; quite a fixture now.
