My friend and mentor Leonardo Bugelli has (after much prodding) put up a web site. It is very basic at this point, but have a look and stay tuned!

Hi Mathew, are you apprenticing with Leonardo?

Leo was kind enough to allow me to spend last fall with him. While it was a wonderful experience and Leo told me that I would be welcome to stay on for the longer term I feel that it's important for me to establish my own working methods at this stage.
Leo's great, no? I'm looking forward to seeing the sartoria he opened with Vestrucci now that it's completed!

Well, if you're planning to become a shirtmaker, good luck and let us know your progress!

That must have been a wonderful experience and you should tell us more about it; I'm sure that many here would be interested.

Surely, everyone here visiting Florence should make an effort to pay Leonardo a visit if only to say hello.

With his dedication, passion and sincerety, he's a throwback to what we imagine a true Florentine artisan to be.

I'm going to get my logbook to recap things soon.
Leo has passion for his craft but not pretense. He's a real character!
