E Green suede derby (3-hole?)

Last trip through NYC, I stopped to look in on Venanzi, home of the Manton reception. IIRC, I saw a nice pair of Greens on the 82 last-- a low-cut 3-eyelet derby with a plain toe. More of a relaxed look than the 4/5 hole style, and none of the exaggerated length of the 2-hole.

a) Did I remember aright
b) Does this model have a name, and
c) Is there an online picture anywhere?

I couldn't tell you if you remember correctly; but if I remember correctly, EG does have a model called the Exeter, which is a two-eyelet derby with V-shaped quarters and which sounds like it may be similar to the shoe you saw. Courtesy of mpolanthan, here's a picture:

This is close, but I seem to remember a slightly less aerodynamic look to this other model. Maybe it was the same one-- my memory is less than excellent these days.

Edward Green does (did?) have 3-eyelet plain toe derby called the 'York'. I have never seen the actual shoe but here's a fax from a couple of years ago. It seems to be less agressively cut than the Exeter but I haven't seen the Venanzi model so I can't tell you if it's the same.

Concordia, EG has a new 3 eye Norwegian called "Ekton" which looks quite good. I don't have a jpeg of it or I would post it, but I do have a .pdf that I could e-mail.

I have a pair of Holborns which are the plain 2 eye model with tasseled laces. I do not know the terms, but the cut is not extreme back through the instep and is more akin to a lace-up version of the EG Troon monk. The Holborns are in a dark oak with a thames sole on the 802 last which fits my feet extremely well and does not have the more extreme toe like the 888.

The shoes are perfect other than I always wish that the brown were not quite so dark.

Here are some pics of a different 3-eyelet derby I found after my earlier post. These were made by Edward Green for Asprey. They are slightly different that the York pictured above and I'm sure that an email to the nice folks at EG will reveal a model name.
