lining on bespoke

I have had bespoke garments made where the lining is done two different ways. The more common way is that most often found in ready to wear. The other way, the lining is cut around the pockets. I like the appearence of the second style. I am curious what the name for this treatment of the lining is known as.

I, too, prefer the in-breast pockets "on the cloth" as it is commonly called. It looks more professional and elegant. Many Savile Row houses still do make their pockets in the lining, possibly because it costs a cheaper to produce (less hand sewing), possibly because they have been making their in-breasts in the lining for ever and see no need to change or, possibly, a combination of both.

I have my made in the cloth as well and have grown to like-its one of the affectations of middle age-bright colored linings
