Slim Aarons’s obituary appears in today’s New York Times, but it really does not do justice to the man or his work. Getty Images has a small retrospective on its website, which is really worth a look. For those fortunate enough to have a copy of A Wonderful Time (Harper & Row 1974), you know what a treat that book is.
