I just saw the first printing of Manton's new book -- its beautifully done and destined to be a classic!!! The book has superlative writing, excellent content (this book goes well beyond the ground covered by any other writer), some funny cartoons(!) and recommendations from the two most influential men's fashion writers.

Gentlemen, get in line to shake Manton's hand -- that way we can say that "we knew him when . . . "

Mr. Seitelman, how about a special East Coast Chapter meeting to commemorate Manton's achievement -- Manton, when will the book hit the shelves?

You are too kind. But still, I'm glad you liked it! And thanks for your help on it.

The book will be released on May 23. And Mark has already been gracious enough to help me arrange an event. Look for an announcement soon.

Congratulations Manton,
I am waiting eagerly to read this.

Mark, as much advanced notice as possible would be appreciated,
I would like to head down to NYC for this.

Thank you,

Allen

Yes, I too would like to come and would appreciate notice.

I thought it best to ask now while you'll (hopefully) still take my calls and before you hit the lecture and talk show circuit.

Hate to be "mushy", but this couldn't happen to a more deserving gentleman.

As soon as you get to Europe for a promotion tour, let me know!

Congratulations, I am looking forward to browsing through the pages.

Great news!

I hope only that our gathering won't be during the week of the Twenty-first, as I must be away then.

Dear Sirs,
Can I ask, what the book is called and where one can buy it.

Thank you

Manton, is there any chance that you will be doing any promotions on the West Coast? If you have any LA-area signings, you can be sure I'll bend heaven and earth to be there!

Thanks for the tickler, smoothjazz. Order placed; anticipating much pleasure. I"ll look forward to coming up for the event if humanly possible.

I remain quite confused as to what manton's real name is...

EDIT: Just read the blurb on Amazon. All is clear now. I never did realise that you had been quite so highly placed in Washington, however.

Assuming that I can not make it to New York, is there another way that I can get a signed copy?
