Gentlemen,

Is anyone aware of a book/website that provides a LOT of pictures of our goodly Duke? I'm able to find many smattered across the Internet, but it's been hard discovering an acceptable few in one place.

I appreciate the help.

P.S. If anyone has any old books on the Duke they're willing to sell, please send me a message, I am interested!

You can order a used copy of Windsor Revisited on Amazon. In it the Duke discusses fashion. It's a glimpse at how he developed his style.[/list]

In adition to A Family Album, you may be interested in the Sotheby's catalog of the auction of his effects, usually available on eBay, Suzy Menkes' Windsor Style, and Frances Donaldson's biography Edward VIII. .

Where can I find A Family Album? I just purchased Windsor Revisited on eBay, but I can't seem to find A Family Album anywhere.

There are two books written by the Duke: "A King's Story" and "Windsor Revisited". For clothing aficionados the latter is the book to have. These are titles of US editions; in the UK the books were published under other names; "Family Album" is the UK title of one of these books.

Is "A Family Album" the UK printing of "Windsor Revisited"?

They both came out in 1960, but from catalogue descriptions the UK book has 152 pages and the US one 216 pages. Maybe this is to do with the printing, but, on the face of it, it would suggest that there were differences even if they were essentially the same work. Given the date it might have been possible to say more in an American edition than a British one. Further investigation is called for.
