My Romanian leathermaker finally admitted he has no interest in fulfilling my order at a distance, 8 months after we placed the order. In any event, I need an alternative source for bespoke leather goods. I read of one,

Artigianato del Cuoio, Via Belsiana 90, second floor; telephone 678-4435

They were written up in the NYTimes in 1988 and I never forgot their shop. Does anyone know if they have an email or are Internet-savy? Does anyone have any experience with them?

I've visited April in Paris (http://www.aprilinparis.us/) in San Francisco and Bea's creations are wonderful. I have not yet placed an order but am contemplating a travel wallet.
