Thanks uppercase ! What a great example of what Michael and others have been writing for years in this club , " style is about WHO YOU ARE , not what you are wearing "

Hi Vassilis!
Greetings and hope all is well!!

McQueen....Indeed!

SM seems to me to be one of the very few who can wear 3 piece suits and street wear equally well.

From his folding Persols, McQueen-white Harrington, PlayBoy chukkas, Belstaff Trail master, and on...

Cool is breaking from the formulaic. Indeed, as you say....being who you are. So simple.

McQueen...one of a kind.

McQueen...one of a kind.
We are all one of a kind.

It's just that some men (very few) realize, accept and bathe themselves and others in the warm light of it.

Cheers

Thanks for the greetings uppercase , most things are not bad at all right now , I sincerely thank you for asking !
The SM photos are great , indeed one a kind , he's got certain futures that reflect his personality that are very special !
I also agree we Michael , cause we all have ! There are not the same ones most probably as SM and they cant be because as you ve said he is OFK ... And I think this is what i'm starting to figure out , the minute we stop trying to look like someone else and we begin to really explore our own great futures ..we are there !! Its the begining of style ...our very own , inspired by ..but not look like !

"Be yourself...everyone else is taken."

--Oscar Wilde

99.9% of men kill any chance of style in their lives by patently refusing to simply accept and be themselves. Their style bereft lives are occupied "trying" to be someone or something else.

When I wrote a few lessons on style, I suggested exercises that would lead people towards accepting and liking themselves. I never mentioned a word about clothes for the simple reason that clothes have zero to do with style. Your choice of clothing, "your" look, is the result of You just being You. It happens naturally, spontaneously. There is no thought involved at all. A stylish man follows his instincts, the ones that issue from deep within and are true.

"The elegant man dresses"

--Honore de Balzac

A man with style just puts his bloody cloths on! That is what Balzac, Wilde and I are saying. Do it!

PS: Vassilis, I might as well be writing in Greek :D because not a soul can understand these things. But I am not at all surprised that you get it. I saw it in you from the beginning. Cheers.
