It is definitely changed a bit through the years... or is it?

Sorry -- not on SR (this topic simply seemed to be most suitable), but on how things used to be on Jermyn Street...

There is a wonderful collection of photographs on "Imperial War Museum" web-site (of all places!)

http://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/searc ... vile%20Row

It seems they belong to two series: "SAVILE ROW: TAILORING AT HENRY POOLE & CO., LONDON, ENGLAND, UK, 1944" and "A BELGIAN BUYS A SUIT: TAILORING IN WARTIME LONDON, ENGLAND, UK, 1944".

I especially like the first one. Some photos are terrific.

What was the old address of Brigg in the pictures?

Thomas Brigg and Sons were at 23 St James Street which is on the corner with Ryder Street.

Quite an impressive collection, with many prominent figures photographed while still very-very young: http://www.alamy.com/stock-photo/london ... e-row.html
