There is a wonderful collection of photographs on "Imperial War Museum" web-site (of all places!)

It seems they belong to two series: "SAVILE ROW: TAILORING AT HENRY POOLE & CO., LONDON, ENGLAND, UK, 1944" and "A BELGIAN BUYS A SUIT: TAILORING IN WARTIME LONDON, ENGLAND, UK, 1944".
I especially like the first one. Some photos are terrific.

Thomas Brigg and Sons were at 23 St James Street which is on the corner with Ryder Street.
