Maybe it's the haircut, but there is a bit of ;'70s patina on that one.

Definitely, more on Clint Eastwood than on the coat. These muted brown and beige checks would look modern and stylish worn with flannels or jeans.

I think we can do better than Fox with the design. There is a way to make this tweed sing. I think.

Definitely. The colours of the Fox version seem brighter and less muted.

I think the quality, the colors and general design of the new Alden Babbo is much more appealing....

Close enough, I would be tempted to make a raglan if it were made in a chunky quality like Babbo or the 700g quality of the Agnelli glencheck (name?).
