Lovat Mill at the CLA Game Fair

The CLA Game Fair was on this last weekend; a vital fixture on the British sporting calendar - it covers all things shooting & fishing.
Lovat Mill had a stand there & I was delighted to meet Pat, a lovely lady who - via phone or email - will be familiar to anyone who’s ordered a London Lounge ‘limited edition’ cloth woven by Lovat.
It was nice to put a face to the voice & have a chat. I also had a chance to browse their books of ‘house tweeds’ & ordered a couple of metres of one for use later this year.
The weather was warm with just a few brief sunny periods on the first day. I’m happy to say to report that nicely 'lived in' linen (suits or odd jackets) along with Panama’s were popular choices for the men. Some hardy, red-faced souls did sport a set of tweeds though – still good to see - plus not a ‘shell-suit’ in sight.
