Bespoke Macs? Socks?

Hello All,

I have another question for the members of these fora. Are there any makers of bespoke Macintosh rainwear? I also have trouble finding good socks in my size. There are few socks small enough from heel to toe and fewer still that are narrow enough for my feet - I wear a US men's 6 C if the shoe is constructed on a narrow last.

As you might imagine, my interest in bespoke tailoring, cordwainers, was born of necessity. As I get older I am less willing to compromise, and I am actively sweeping past compromises from my wardrobe.

Cheers

Flusser in New York offers bespoke (MTM actually) Macs in several colors.

Bespoke macs and socks must be the final frontier. But to make them really special, I should think that waxed vicuna for the mac and spider silk for the socks (monogrammed on the soles) might easily find their rightful uses. 8)

The real McKoy offer "bespoke" which is actually MTM but should meet your requirements: http://www.mackintoshrainwear.com/.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I forgot entirely aboult Flusser and I'll certainly check out Mackintosh Rainwear. It looks like they also have a location in NYC.

Now if only I could find socks.
