I am pondering surprising my wife with a long weekend trip abroad to London (or maybe Edinburgh and NE Scotland as we only had one day in Edinburgh last trip and spen all our time in Glasgow, the Plockton area and Skye.

If London- any best or worst time from late April to Early June in terms of a must-see time to be there or to avoid?

Cheers!

Was just checking prices- airfares and hotels are priced well around 4/23-28 so we may go then. Looking to stay in the vicinity of Hyde Park.

The Columbia Hotel at Lancaster Gate has a charming, old world appeal. Right on Hyde park.
