Sirs,

In two weeks time I have to spend a couple of days in and around Geneva. Things not be missed?

I am sure you won’t miss it, but here it is anyway:

Some people like it so much that they simply can’t take their eyes off it.

I haven't searched in obscure corners, but in the centre - apart from a couple of unimpressive (probably MTM) shirtmakers - I can't say I saw anything worth mentioning.

Look at the distance between the buttons. Try imagining how it would look with the top 2 buttons open...

Big names everywhere and, of course, watches, watches, watches...

A couple of friends who left Italy to spend Easter there a week ago got a lot of snow, but if you go there in mid-April you may be lucky to see some Magnolias in blossom.

If you're interested in physics, I think the particle accelerator at CERN (very near the airport) may still do public tours – but they have been scaling them down, and may have stopped now. You used to be able to see some quite impressive stuff.

Enjoy your trip,
WGFK.
