This probably seems a little silly, but I happen to be in the midst of growing out my moustache.

From my limited knowledge (purely gained from growing it for the past few weeks), it seems I need to trim the bottom part, just above the lips, so that there is a space between the hair and my lips. But surely there is more to maintaining this than that?

I'm not acquainted with anyone that actually has one (or at least a well kept one), so I'm hoping some members here can provide their moustache maintenance tips for those curious in joining the club.

It's up to yourself but at a certain point you may have to invest in 'product' as our American cousins say or more prosaically moustache wax to give it definition. I am rather a fan of these gents which may provide inspiration, The Handlebar Club of London http://www.handlebarclub.co.uk/index.php they've kept the faith since 1947, perhaps a better gallery here: http://www.theguardian.com/fashion/gall ... n-pictures
