This is concurrently an introductory post, and to see if any of the forum denizens are yachties.

Look forward to gaining and sharing some bespoke knowledge and appreciation.

So any of the other loungers sail?

Cheers,
Graham

Not often enough, but yes.

True, but always remember it can be overdone. I occupied myself in 2008-2010 mostly managing race boats since the construction side of things here was pretty much crickets. Much more on with contracting these days, and I think 30-40 days a year sailing a lot better at keeping burnout at bay than ~120+ days. Or maybe it has nothing to do with the time at all, just that doing something for a paycheck is always a different deal than doing it for fun.

Yes! But I haven't been for a while since I'm landlocked in paris at the moment.

I used to actually teach sailing. Lots of bankers now going around tying bowlines.

I like to sail but don't manage very often. Usually on a friend's Dufour 36, out of Buckler's Hard on the Solent.

Did some sailing on a Hobiecat in the Carribean a few month's ago, but that doesn't really count!

Any sailing is good sailing, go ahead and count it!

The latest ride here from Key West Race Week in January. Spectacular conditions this year, probably the best we have had.
