Let us just say that 'er indoors has strong views on dogs - and much prefers cats; which is just as well, as we have, barring evident, current pregnancies, 25: they range in names from Hedy (the most beautiful and cleverest) to Largo; Goldfinger (owing to the size of a vet's bill); right on through, to Polar Bears I-IV.uppercase wrote:Who is that dank dog?

Dear NJS,
hm - will it be pipe & cigar smoking polar bears and cats around a Brazilian swimming pool and reflecting about Christmas in the cold?

Christmas on the beach was surprisingly easy to get used to. However, I think that I'd really prefer the snow, log fires and candlelight - but just for two days! The strange thing is that the traditional 'Prince Albert Christmas' decorations with the Tannenbaum; robins on snowy logs etc. all make an appearance in 30'C heat! We don't have a pool. Each neighbour does but the builders of the house just didn't put one in. The sea here is too rough (with rip-currents) to swim very often but swimming pools, so near the sea, get hit by sand, leaves and algae etc. so that pool owners have daily people to hoover them and I'm glad not to have to bother!davidhuh wrote:Dear NJS,
