All,

Looking for artisans and/or interesting shops in Northern/Northwestern
Italy. We'll be spending close to a week in and around Torino, with day trips...Given the (relative) closeness of Biella, is it possible to visit any mills (ducking the lengths of 14 + oz fabrics being thrown at me) or fabric stores? Also, any suggestions for hotels in Torino are welcome.

For anybody with an interest in modern and contemporary art, Torino is a fantastic city. I don't know about any hotels or tailors as I have always made day trips in from Milan.
