White tie waistcoat for black tie - the shirt?

Quick question: I'm considering getting a white tie waistcoat to go with my dinner suit (a single-breasted shawl collar job, normally worn with a turn down collar pleated front dress shirt). I imagine the marcella waistcoat would require being worn over a marcella dress shirt, or could I get away with my current pleated front shirt? Would a marcella shirt require wing collars in this instance, given that turn down collars seem to be more in fitting with a shawl collar jacket (I'm planning to get a SB DJ with pointed collars at some point though)?

Ta muchly.

I'm thinking about throwing a pizza party for my friends and I am considering buying some antique silverware for this occasion. Perhaps I should also buy a set of Limoges dishes to go with the silverware - or maybe I could get away using my finest china. I'm planning a sandwich party in the near future anyway. What do you advise? ;)

Strawberry jam on white bread followed by raspberry jelly, ice cream and fairy cakes. Ginger beer from fine crystal cannot be beaten.
Is it fancy dress ?

Limoges dishes? With silverware? You cad! I should have you strung up from the nearest tree!

Apologies, I do have a lot of questions - still learning.
