Luggage!

Dear Gentlemen,

I shall soon be having a bespoke attaché and matching luggage made for me and I am quite confused as to whether I should have them made in bridle leather or pigskin leather...What would be your opinions on this matter?

I would really appreciate your replies..
I am thinking of having everything done in bridle leather..it looks good and is obviously really strong.
But then again gig skin is good a swell….was used a lot in the 30’s and I love that decade..though not sure if a complete luggage set made of that skin would look good?

I don't think that you can loose either way between pigskin and bridle. But, I think that your question is too open ended, there are too many styles of liuggage and briefcase to consider. Your questions is almost like "I'd like to wear a tie with a suit, what do you reccommend".

For what it's worth, if you travel commercially, know that the gorillas on the other side of any ticket counter in any country will destroy you purchase. If you are fortunate enough to have a private jet, then god bless and don;t worry about what you buy. When you get rounf to your third set after a couple of miss-starts, it will be just right.
