What advice do you have for taking care of gloves?

Such as cleaning and nurturing of the leather.

I have a pair of Boar Skin golves from the maker Andean, that don't feel as soft and supple as they once did.

Would saddle soap work ok?

Thank you in advance for your advice.

Assuming that they are probably unlined, I suggest that you prepare a basin of warm water and soap flakes (such as Lux) and put the gloves on and gently make to wash your hands, until the gloves are clean. Rinse through and lay out flat to dry in the air not near a radiator or heating device. The same procedure works for chamois gloves. When dry, if they are still a bit stiff, try some saddle soap or leather nutrient cream.
