For brown leather shoes - despite using wax polish (Kiwi) the leather on some of my shoes is quite dry. Can anyone suggest a make/type of cream polish for brown leather that's easy to find in the UK?

Thanks.

I have just started to use Pate De Luxe SAPHIR and find it to be excellent. I purchased mine in France and cannot find it in the UK. However a quick internet search has shown several online European stores which I imagine would ship. I have also heard that it is the same polish Edward Green and John Lobb sell re-branded. Hope this has been of some help.

Why not use beeswax?

Brummell reputedly favoured the blending of chapagne into the preparation.

The people who bring you Kiwi also make Meltonian creams. A jar of that in neutral should give your shoes a nice drink.

Or, if you can find it, Saphir is reputed to do the same only better. That is less commonly available, but should be able to be shipped from somewhere near you.
