The super number and woolen yarns

Tthe super number seems to relate to worsted suitings only. Is it sometimes used to specify woolen yarns as well?

I've seen "Super 100s" flannels.

Pretty sure I've seen similar in Smith and H&S books. Not all of those were worsteds.
