Next project I hope to have made a blue fresco DB blazer made for travel use.

What books would you recommend?

BTW, any thoughts on 'bamboo' cloth?; does it have the same breathability and wrinkle resistance as fresco?

TIA

I can't recommend any books, but "bamboo" should be based on celluloses like linen or cotton, so it will most likely wrinkle more than a pure wool fresco. Apart from that is not too bad. Very light and soft. We had a RTW jacket made from bamboo for sale and it was OK. Have no idea if a bespoke tailor will like tailoring it. There are some restrictions when tailoring non- wool or non-hair fabrics.

I think the Smith Finmeresco has a navy blue that might do for a blazer. This book is a little heavier than the Minnis 9/10oz, but drapes beautifully. For better or worse, it is also a little stretchier.

Otherwise, there's really nothing wrong with Minnis.
