Pinstripe for worsted, chalk stripe for flannel

Pencil stripe is also okay for worsted.

Full on chalk width (which would appear more distinct on a worsted and less chalky) is to be avoided.

Those are the natural partners, but go with what works. You can get a nice rope stripe in worsted, which appears more or less as chalk stripe. And there are some pencil stripes or pinstripes in the Minnis flannel book that don't look half bad.
