If one wanted to make a classic trouser reminscent of the 1930s, what would it look like?

How many pleats, width throughout the leg, waist heighth and treatment, etc. .... in other words, what would you tell your tailor?

These patterned trousers are beautiful and really add a special dimension to the stroller outfit. So much more interesting than plain trousers....

Where can find such cloth?

I don't know where you'd find this fabric. I've dealt with Abraham and Gandini . . . actually, they've made fabrics that look similar. But this was many, years ago. BTW: the fit of this ensemble, is exquisite. This is a flou fit. A layer of air must reside between the wearer, and the body. Balenciaga further refined this technique, so that it didn't 'float' quite so vividly, from the model's frame. Saint Laurent, went even further . . . infusing flou into every garment that he designed. Image
. . . this is perfection of 'flou,' by Balenciaga.
