I wonder if anyone would be so kind as to write an article on the anatomy of a suit. I ask this because I see lots of terms flying around that I don't understand and a centralised glossary and decription would be great.

eg, gorge, roll, break etc.

An article covering all the basica components of a suit and their varying styles would be a great resource for those of us just entering this world and wanting to understand it.

Perhaps in the form of a "wiki" would be good. That way members could update and add to the resource.

Illustrated, please !

A long article, indeed!

Line drawings or photographs, with features labelled on the picture, could be invaluable in making the text clear.

Michael will perhaps rebuke me if I am out of line, but my upcoming book -- out this May -- goes into all of this in great detail. I am reasonably familar with the extant literature, and I believe that my book is more detailed on these topics than any other single book, and certainly more so than any book geared to the consumer rather than professional tailors.
