Several years ago, I stopped at Trumper's St. James shop to pick up some aftershave. They had their Extract of West Indian Limes in stock but no Astor. The assistant said they no longer made Astor as an aftershave. I was disappointed but decided it wasn't worth having a stroke. More recently, I tried to get some Limes aftershave online. No joy. The closest you can get is "skin food." I've tried it and it's not an acceptable substitute. Are they attempting to drive away their customer base to pursue a younger, hipper demographic? Or are they just succumbing to old age like the rest of us?

My question: Does anyone know of a reasonable substitute for GFT Limes aftershave?

Royall Lyme used to be a standby. And Truefitt& Hill plays in Trumper’s sandbox.

Thanks. I've never tried either one. I'll give them a try.
