I'm getting back into golf after last playing seriously in my teens and noticed the shoes people are wearing look more like sports trainers, I'd quite like to find some more classic ones so thought LL would be a good place to ask.
If there are any golfers here what to you wear?
Feel free to also discus clothes, the club I used to go to still demands long socks if wearing shorts which is nice.

I started to play 1983 and ever since I wear FJ golf shoes In the old days the shoes were welt sewn. The worl has changed ever since and what you get nowadays is different. Maybe the "Premiere Series" comes close to what you want. A couple of years ago FJ launched the "Heritage Series" and welt sewn shoes were on sale again. Maybe you find some around
