Tipping Options for Bespoke Ties

Okay, gurus of all things sartorial. Am about to order some bespoke ties from Sam Hober. What are your thoughts on self-tipped vs. being tipped in a complementary fabric? And for those of you who say "neither" (because you go with an untipped option), I think I've eliminated untipped because i want a little more weight/structure at the end of the tie.
