Greetings!

What are your go-to tie knots and what others are in your occasional repertoire?

It all depends on the thickness of the tie. Half Windsor in almost 80% of cases (lighter ties), four in hand in 20% (thicker ties).

4 in hand. Two loops for thin silks. One loop for thick.

Cheers

The go-to tie knot, for 95% of my neckties is the four in hand. Double loop for a few thin ones that I own.
But for my knit ties though, I favor the Kent (some people call it the little knot) which leads to a perfect size knot for the bulkier material. It´s a bit awkward to finish with the back seam of the small blade facing outwards but it´s either hidden by the front blade, or the construction of the knit tie makes the seam inconspicuous (or sometimes even non-existent).

Usually a four in hand or when I've needed a bit more knot heft, a half windsor. Just to shake up my routine, I've occasionally used a Pratt, but it's not really (IMO) a very appealing knot.

Four in hand with two loops 90% of the time. One loop for the thickest of ties the other 10%.
