Mr. Hober and his crew are very helpful and pleasant to deal with, I find. Quality is top notch as well.

Try also Vanda Fine Clothing

It's definitely some of the best ties I've handled so far, and they do longer (or shorter) ties for only a very small surcharge. All their ties are untipped though, which might not be for everyone, but I love it.
Cheers,
Soren

T&A probably still do. Some OTR, and if you want more selection or a better shape, MTM.
At much lower prices, some of the American catalogues (Lands End, etc.) offer decent value for money.

Dear Soren,
there is no shortage of extra long ties out there (npi). For example, Robert Talbott, Canali and Ermenegildo Zegna offer a wide range of extra long ones (155/58 cm).
Also I have found that despite being very tall myself not always do I need XL ties. Most of the time different widths and linings make it unnecessary (I knot a four-in-hand).

JS GROOT:
For truly beautiful grenadine ties, google Sam Hober. The colours and construction of the ties are splendid. David Hober and family are topnotch, and they're willing to make ties to your preferred
specifications in terms of width and length.
Others swear by Drakes, but their ties strike me as typically English (read: ordinary).
If price is no object, Google Stefano Ricci. Better still, visit the flagship store in Firenze. The early
Ricci ties were extraordinary. His wife at the time was the genius behind many of the designs. What
a talent! Many of the early neckties were made of crepe de chine. I doubt you'll find any of the great ones readily available. They're true collector's items. The later Ricci ties have a tendency to verge on ho-hum in terms of design, but now and then he creates ties that are truly extraordinary. Be highly selective. Search for the truly extraordinary examples.

Two other Italian firms that will make "bespoke" ties to order. I have lovely ties from both.
In Rome,
http://www.eziopellicano.com/ I have only dealt with the shop, but there are people there with passable English, so I am sure you could work by phone or email. I have so done with these Neopolitans..
http://www.passaggiocravatte.com/index.html with some language-based hiccoughs, but we got there in the end. You won't get any change from 100-120 Euros, but you will get unique well made ties.

Now I see that Beau Ties is offering different lengths and widths:

No idea how the quality stacks up, but they have some interesting patterns.
